Malaga. Bishop's Palace (Palacio Episcopal)

On Obispo square is one of the most beautiful buildings in Malaga and a remarkable example of late Baroque architecture of the 18th century. The Palace consists of several buildings built in the 16th and 18th centuries, United in a single complex that occupies an entire block.

Most interesting is the building, whose construction began in 1762 under the direction of architect Antonio Ramos.

The Central part of the facade with a portal and balcony is completed by a niche with a sculpture of the virgin of Sorrows (Virgen de las Angustias), made by Fernando Orits.
